Councillors Karen Bruce and David Nagle are trying to give people who previously would have gone into a care home the option of ‘extra care’.

Heavy rain has caused ‘unprecedented’ flooding in some parts of Woodlesford as the canal and River Aire have merged into one.

Rothwell, Oulton and Woodlesford say “No to fracking”

Local Councillors agreed that Leeds City Council: “opposes the current exploration licenses for fracking in the Leeds area.”

A new round of fracking licenses were recently announced by the government covering Rothwell, Oulton and Woodlesford.
